On April 7, 2023, Second Story Gallery will be presenting a group show, which will include a selection of my drawing from the model. These I drew during a 20-year period throughout the 80s and the 90s. The show will run through the month of April.

Summer Solstice 2021 Peony at dawn

At Trumansburg Winterfest in 2021, I had a selection of peony photographs in our gallery, showing along with the photographs of Ben Guthrie.

I was delighted to have a gallery exhibition in my new home town of Trumansburg, located about 20 minutes by car from Ithaca, New York. Second Story Gallery houses my studio as well as hosting occasional shows of art in its gallery space.

The show ran from July through September in 2019. I shared the exhibition space with another local (and prominent) artist, John Gurche, who is an expert in giving sculptural form to the bones of paleontology.

During the spring and summer of 2018, I was fortunate to be in a group show titled “A Sense of Place.” This was in the MichaelKate Gallery in Santa Barbara, California. This was curated by Jan Ziegler, who operates the wonderful Gallery 10 West downtown. We had an engaging forum one evening to discuss our art.

SOLO EXHIBITION IN CARPINTERIA IN 2016

In the fall of 2016 I mounted a show of my own work in my Jared Dawson Gallery space. I owned this gallery for a year in the small city of Carpinteria California just east of Santa Barbara. I had 6 shows of Pacific coast artists, the most successful of which was the summer exhibition of Cuba photographs by Nell Campbell, a locally-based and widely-admired artist.
